Steve Walker


Steve Walker practices in the areas of general real estate, title claims and real estate financing law. His work has included drafting and negotiating sales contracts, leases and loan documentation, and handling many other legal matters relating to real estate. He has closed hundreds of transactions ranging from residential transactions to large complex commercial transactions. He is an agent for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation and Attorneys Title Insurance Fund.

Prior to the formation of Moulton McEachern & Walker, Steve was a shareholder in Carlton Fields. He participated in firm management through membership on, and served as co-chair of, the personnel and shareholder selection committee, as well as serving on several other committees.

He has been active in professional organizations. He has served as a circuit representative and member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Trust and Probate Law Section of the Florida Bar. He has also served as co-chair and editor of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar Journal and co-chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, and for the Executive Council.

Steve has served as an adjunct professor in real property at Pensacola Junior College. He is a member of the board of directors of Aletheia Christian Academy and served as president and currently serves as an elder of Grace Community Church. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the Pensacola YMCA and is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Pensacola. He has also served as an officer and on the boards of various other civic and community organizations.

He received a bachelor of science degree, with honors, in 1976, and a masters of science degree in 1979 from the University of Florida. In 1982, he received his law degree, with honors, from The University of Florida College of Law, where he was a board member of the Florida Law Review.
