Bill McEachern, Jr. is a native of Pensacola. Bill attended local schools and graduated from the University of West Florida before heading to Illinois to attend law school.

Bill practices general business and commercial law including commercial sales and other transactions, commercial litigation, asset based lending, asset sales and leasing, sales of businesses, corporate, partnership, and limited liability company matters, bank representation, intellectual property litigation including copyright and trademark disputes, creditors' rights and bankruptcy (representing creditors), mortgage foreclosures, and trust litigation.

Bill graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Florida in 1979 with a bachelor of arts degree in history. In 1982, he graduated summa cum laude and second in his class from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was a member of the University of Illinois Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Prior to forming Moulton McEachern & Walker, on May 1, 2000, Bill was a partner with Carlton Fields and served on that firm's Board of Directors. Before Bill returned to his hometown of Pensacola in 1986 to work with Carlton Fields, he clerked for Judge Harold A. Baker of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois and practiced in the commercial law department of the Jenner & Block firm in Chicago.

Bill is an active member of the Pensacola community. He is a member of the Downtown Rotary Club of Pensacola, Calvary Chapel, and FavorHouse of Northwest Florida Board, and previously was on the East Hill Christian School Board and on the Far East Missions Foundation Board. He also has been active with the local Boy Scouts and YMCA.

He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Florida and for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.

Bill is married to Tamara McEachern and has two children, Rachel and Tyler.
